Short-Stroke-type is a special version of the Inner-type, offering a high tactile ratio with strokes of 0.6 to 0.8 mm.

Short-Stroke-type is a special version of the Inner-type, offering a high tactile ratio with strokes (S2) of 0.6 to 0.8 mm. The Short Stroke keypad is an alternative to typical metal dome switches, providing similar tactile response without the characteristic metalic sound.

The Short-Stroke-type construction can be embedded in normal keypad designs. Extra care is required for the application designs to provide optimum performance of the tactile characteristic. Design support is provided by Shin-Etsu Polymer.
